Water & Sewer Utility
During routine sewer cutting and jetting you may experience water in your sewer lines being pushed out of your drains, sinks and toilets. You may have to re-flush and fill the drains P trap with water to avoid having any other sewer odor that may have occurred during a city flushing operation. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
As a reminder, in case you think that your home may be experiencing a sewer backup call the utility clerk’s office at 715-359-5230 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. If a sewer backup occurs after hours, please call Kevin King – Public Works Director at 715-571-8436 or 715-359-4310. You can also contact the local Sheriff’s office at 715-261-1200 if Kevin King is unavailable.
The City of Schofield sewer utility is not responsible for sewer backups. You should contact your insurance carrier to have a sewer backup endorsement added to your policy.
